Hand-built Bicycles

Try these on for size:

The 650b Mountain Touring from La Suprema in Tucson

The 1910 Field bike also from La Suprema

Dolly's Burrio Bike also from La Suprema

From Vanilla Cycles in Portland (check out the rear dropouts on anything from 'Nilla)

This baby from ANT cycles looks pretty fun to ride

One of the best new ideas for a bike I've ever seen. N.B. the pizza rack.

This 'Truck Trike' uses some pretty out there technology like front wheel drive. The mechanics are a little bewhildering.

The guy who made this calls himself Wade the Vulture. I think it's probably the ultimate Stink Wheel.

And one more from La Suprema, the Coppertrack. Too bad I'd never have the guts to ride it outside.

  1. Not so custom as yours, Mr Snarl, some may even be made in Taiwan, but here are some sites I have enjoyed recently for bike browsing. The Rivendell site in particular makes pretty good reading.

  2. Drool drool. I like the bike candy. Truth be told, these days I get all wet over anything with an integrated basket or well-placed pannier.

Also, I recently was over at Vanilla's site wishing I could afford and be patient enough for one of theirs.
